Did antique malls and stores in this area of Denham Springs get any water in them? I was planning to stop in this coming Saturday while driving I-10.

Are you bringing your boat too?

I hope your trip is not inconvenienced, would be a tragedy.

Most of the city is flooded, hundreds (probably thousands) lost most of their things and this guy is worried about if antique stores are going to be open

I'm in Texas, and even I am going to say don't bother.

This is terrible news how wide spread all the flooding is. I guess I will not travel I-10 this week.

Would you describe yourself as an antiquing hobbyist or an occasional dabbler?

You should stop by... plenty of deals on slightly moist antiques.

I don't do as much as I used to, way too busy with work. I have a few things I keep a look out for. I'm guessing the antique store and booth owners are devastated if they lost everything. I have a lot of friends who live outside of Louisiana who drive I-10 and stop in often to see what new antiques have arrived.

Right now it is safe to assume anything 5 miles east of Amite River is flooded. And anything south of 190

My mom was watching Heirlooms by Jo for Ms. Jo this weekend in the village. It's completely destroyed, along with my mom's car and Ms. Jo's house in Denham.
My mom was helping out in town from Texas.

Saw pictures on Facebook of the antique shops. It's all flooded.
Probably 3 to 4 feet, maybe higher in places.

Have you not been watching/reading any news channels at all about any of this?
