Another Major University Planning MOOC Degrees

University of Illinois will be offering an MBA through MOOC. Cost around $20k.

Full Disclosure: I am not a huge fan of the MOOC model of online higher education, but it is a cash cow to universities facing budget cuts. Arizona State expects 50k students just in their MOOCs by 2020.

Makes a lot of sense to me for masters degrees where a lot of in-person contact isn't really important, but it would seem like something would be lost for an MBA where there is normally a lot of focus on group projects and learning.
