These fricking terrorists need to be put down. How the frick can these people call themselves cops? The only good cop reports this fricking sick sick abuse and then gets fired. This type of shite will start to get cops killed. It seems there is no stopping them, as all the good cops are getting the boot. We need to get the community involved and take back our police force.

You do realize that a correctional officer is different from a police office?

You have freedoms when you are a law abiding citizen, some are taken away when you can't follow the law. Not justifying this situation whatsoever as this is fricked up. People are in prison for a reason though.

Dude had mental illnesses, so why wouldn't he be in a mental institute? So b/c someone is in prison, it is ok to get their eye ripped out, even though they are already paying for their crime (prison)?

Also you act like everyone in prison deserves to be there. No one has ever been wrongly accused?

Not saying it is right but he should not have done anything to be extracted from the cell. He did something wrong for them to enter in riot gear. If he can't comply in prison, he can't comply in society.

You think cops are on a power trip? You've obviously never dealt with corrections officers.

Officer, cop, same difference, a dude w/ an inflated ego and a badge.

Here is another good quote from the article:

Six other officers were involved in the episode and four of them, including Anderson, were promoted.

frick you!

So you are saying that since the dude had his eye ripped out, then he must of done something wrong. The officer that got fired said the guy just barricaded himself up in the cell and was 'hiding' under a blanket when they went in there.

So how are you going to spin this and defend those pieces of shits? Well if the guy would of just complied and not tried to hide, then he wouldn't get his eye ripped out.

Also it makes you wonder how many times this dude was abused, since it said he was hiding from the cops under a bed sheet. And throw in the fact the dude is mentally ill...
