Yep--my 11 year old and all of his friends wear the Nike elite and UA socks pulled up to their calves. Not always though--sometimes they wear no-shows.

Nike mid calf socks pretty much all day every day man. If I'm wearing khaki shorts, I usually have on loafers with no socks.

If I'm at the gym or doing anything athletic I'm usually wearing shorts and tubes scrunched up a little. If you pull 'em tight you are a try hard.

Always wear the nike or under armour black tube socks. If you are a white person, you can't wear white tube socks without looking like larry the cable guy

Socks going back up was inevitable. I was in high school when they went down and I held out as long as I could but I wanted to get laid (and fit in) so I relented.

I'm always in the awkward spot at the gym because I wear boots to work - so naturally I forget to pack regular socks for the gym and wind up wearing boot socks to run/lift in. Looks lame, but IDGAF.

Since I bought a pair of Saloman X mid GTX's and wear them daily with pants and shorts, I have gone to wearing Darn Tough merino wool hiking micro crews as my everday sock. These are an olive color and come up to my lower calf or so. Best combo of foot and sock I have worn in years.
