Any suggestions on the best section to sit in to catch all the action? I want be able to see all those upstanding murderers and rapist rope and ride up close. Nothing like a family day at the prison. Our first time going so any other tips are definitely welcome, just not from Big Bubba.

You can see a seating chart when buying tickets, shoot for the middle sections a few rows up to see everything. Plan on going a few hours early for traffic and time to check out the crafts

I've heard the ones covered with the safety fence are pretty good seats.....

Get somewhere in the middle best view..... get the fried catfish they're raised in ponds on the farm..... be prepared to sit awhile when leaving as traffic will be a nightmare just trying to get out the gates

Bring some extra spending money with you. There is so many cool things to buy. if i had $1000 with me last time it would have been gone and the stuff is actually pretty cheap. Next time i go i will bring a trailer with me to haul stuff back.
As far as the rodeo there is no bad seat there. it is a small enough arena to see everything.

Bought 2 wooden rocking chairs from there a few years back. They are hands down the finest quality rocking chairs ive ever seen. The old man that built them takes a lot of pride in his work. Paid super close attention to detail. He had a dozen and i bought the last 2. I was told he sells out of everything every year.

Best section is the bucket seats in the VIP section. It's right above the center chute. There are fans above the section too keep you cool also. Call up whoever the warden is now and ask. There is usually a catered party with an inmate band at the ranch house. Ask about that too
