A good friend has a major issue at work with regards to his company's mgr & the way she keeps running everybody off with her attitude & horrible mgt skills, or lack of same. Any names of a GOOD atty come to mind?

good grief, just tell him to quit and find a new job. does she really think suing the company is going to make her stay there more pleasant?

I would love to sue everyone who is a bitch.
I would be a billionaire.

Sounds more like a bad manager than a hostile work environment.

Sounds like he has a claim of action for Hurt Feelings under the Federal Pansy Act. Serious bucks, bro. Serious bucks.

Is there a competitor in the field? Likely won't win. Not worth the money and pretty sure you can't sue your employer.

Sounds like a problem that will solve itself if she keeps running people off.

Make sure she knows what the legal definition of a Hostile Work Environment. What you described doesn't necessarily meet the standards unless your friend has a pattern of behavior and/or specific examples of harrassment based on discriminatory work practices against those in a protected class.

My legal opinion is to tell your friend to quit being a vag and find a new job. I don't think he has damages and this is just a waste of money and energy.
