Have you seen this? The whole reason I pay for Amazon prime is to get hassle free two day shipping. Having something shipped 3-5 days takes away not only the quickness but the certainty that your product will arive by said date. Anyone else think this is bs?

Yes I've had two packages in the last week not come in in 2 days. It's Christmas time I guess.

Prime is getting more and more diluted with its popularity

I remember when upgrading to overnight shipping was only 3.99

Im still getting 2 day shipping. Also, I like that they offer perks for no dish shipping.

I emailed Amazon about this exact thing. The response I got was something along the lines of "2day depends of where in the country the shipment is coming from and where you are located"

That is not what it used to be...

It says 2 day shipping when I check out, but it takes 4 or 5 days for me to get packages from Amazon nowadays.

Mine usually arrive in 3-4 days. I send an email to Amazon every time they fail to make the 2 day delivery guarantee. Amazon adds a free month of prime to my account making prime pretty much free.

The popularity is definetly putting a dent into the quality of the service.. I used to upgrade to overnight for 3 bucks most of the time but now it's more so I just don't..

I ordered something wednesday and it still hasn't shipped and it says it will ship on the 8th. I mean that's some bullshite but I've already got my $100 worth this year so whatever I guess.

I've been doing the non expedited 5 day shipping because I get 5.99 free Amazon grocery with every order. I've bought probably 15 things in the past two weeks and now have like 90$ free to spend. When I do 2 day shipping it's always 2 days though. I think one time it was 3 days and I ordered late night.

I've done this a few times. I haven't ordered off pantry yet though with my credits.

its kinda lame, the $5.99 credits, since they are not stackable you can only use one credit per order (box)

Yeah but I can find plenty of stuff under 5.99 that I can order. Paper towels, toilet paper. Stuff like that where I can buy a 4 count, 5 times and even though it's a little inconvenient getting 5 packages, it's still free.

The last time they did this promotion, you could only use $5.99 at a time. Just letting you know in case you hoped to spend it all in one purchase.

ETA: I see you already know this.

That's not how Prime Pantry works. Shipping is 5.99 if you have one thing or a full pantry box. Prime membership does not include free prime pantry shipping....so all the promotion will give you is free shipping on your paper towels

I'm assuming this issue is related to the high volume of Christmas orders.

I had something take 4 days and after I contacted Amazon they told me it was technically 2 days after it leaves the facility. However, any delays in processing at the warehouse or origin point aren't included in "2 day" shipping time.

I thought that sounded a little fishy. Anyway, they apologized and offered me a kindle book credit.

It's probably just a matter of time before they make changes to the Prime benefits.
