Its funny you say this.. This was years ago.. Early 2000s.. I ordered a signed kevin faulk Pat's mini-helmet from someone and when I opened the box, the smell of smoke just all of a sudden hit me. And the helmet.. I couldn't get the smell out of it. I tried all kind of stuff to try to get it out. I eventually sold it just because it just felt nasty to have.... But is this a common thing on eBay?

Honestly I've mostly had good luck on Ebay and I enjoy looking for deals on there sometimes.
But certainly it's a less pleasant experience. The website is antiquated and annoying to use, and even when you buy from a bigger Ebay seller, you sometimes get your stuff wrapped in local newspaper or otherwise feeling a little less than professional.
