Alton "Martyr" Sterling to be discussed live on Facebook Live tonight at 10:30 p.m.

Where there's smoke, fire and sauces - and then there's this guy:
As many of you know, a thread (now anchored -- please don't make attacks personal) earlier today indicating that an announcement on the Alton Sterling case being imminent may in fact be correct. Many others have been wrong in the past, including me about a date, but something has obviously been leaked for others outside of TD.com to be speaking about this in a manner that requires attention late into the evening.
Below are some life safety tips you should make yourself aware of once all hell breaks loose in Baton Rouge.
1. Surviving a Riot
Be prepared.
Think about your possible escape routes and safe havens before anything actually happens. Crossroads are good because you've got at least one road to race off down if rioters go crazy or the police start charging.
2. Keep your loved ones close.
Sticking together with your loved ones should be your first priority -- your second should be finding a way out.
3. Move away from the riot as calmly as possible.
If you're on foot, you should move away by going with the flow of foot traffic, not against it. If you go against the traffic, you're much more likely to stand out, to get stampeded, or just to get pushed or blocked. If you feel that you may fall down in the big crowd and get trampled, use your elbows to push down on the crowd so that it carries you. Though you may want to run for your life, you should move calmly and relatively slowly.
4. Stay informed.
Remember that staying informed can help you avoid a riot even better than it can help you survive it. Staying on top of the news can help you know which areas should be avoided in advance.
5. Wear safe clothes.
Do not wear clothing that could be interpreted as military or police wear. Do not wear a long white-shirt that is 5 times to big for you or pants that fall below your knees in case you need to make a quick exit.
And if all safety measures fail, relax ... these people will be looking out for you:

Another opportunity for race baiting politicians and wannabe community leaders to turn a racial divide into a fricking gulf...

I'm 100% certain Will Cover is either Gary himself or a member of his close circle and PR team. There is little doubt.

How did Gary's fat arse react to the Troy Bell situation?
Last thing I remember was him posting all the "good" things that Bell had done and saying "copy and paste and start the conversation. SHARE THE GOOD NEWS"
That was so cute, the part about sharing the good news. How did he spin it after the resignation?

He without a doubt is either in the guy's camp or a huge secret supporter. He is basically the tigerdroppings consultant on everything Gary. Who dedicated hundreds of posts like the one above to something they dislike?

A few questions I have:
- will they mention a felon had a gun
- will they mention the cops were called
- will they mention he resisted arrest
- will they mention he had a record
- will they mention a felon had a gun
- will they mention the cops were called
- will they mention he resisted arrest
- will they mention he had a record

Your questions do not matter.
Here is something I wrote earlier today:
quote:
We all know what the decision will be. And it's unfortunate for the Sterling family. They have to relive the horror of that night all over again knowing that no life should have been lost. Disregard the fact that Alton had a gun, high on drugs, selling illegal bootleg CDs, was a convicted predator and resisted arrest - none of that matters.
Those police officers were set out to end what could have been a very successful and prosperous business. Many people have an entrepreneurial spirit for a moment, but ask them 6 months into their business venture and that spirit is gone.
Here's a man that knew CDs were out an outdated technology, but still had the perseverance to generate sales month over month. It was an excruciating grind. Long hours that sometimes bled deep into the night. Check. Weekends off? Not here.
That's what I called entrepreneurship. He took someone's else's vision and work and made money off them. That right there is the American Dream. It's creating something out of nothing. Just think if he could have put together a sales team. What a force they would have been. What could have been. What could have been.
RIP Alton. It hasn't been the same without you.

That's a terrifying perversion of the American Dream, Gary

I bet you're going to be arrested in the protests.
You seem like a winner.

Let's be realistic for a bit.
What do you actually think will happen when this goes down?
Will interstate be shut down? Businesses close? Just chaos in NBR? Everywhere?
I just want to know if I should expect my life to be disrupted or if I probably won't be affected. (I live in AP, work in EBR.)
The protests had no effect on me at all but I am worried BR is the next Ferguson.

Is "CD" a euphemism for some kind of illegal drug?
