They talk a whole alot about shite yet never got off their arse to defend it. It's pretty comical to see those people get all pissed at people exercising their right to sit. Freedom of speech and expression goes both ways.

Pissed off people going on and on about respecting the flag and anthem and how those who sit need their asses beat or killed. Go read the comment section on any rightwing facebook page. Filled with people saying its disrespectful of our troops yet most troops and vet are fine with them sitting even if they wish they would stand.

There was a middle aged black couple wearing Alabama gear in the student section for some reason and they were sitting during the anthem. Just meant I needed to sing loud enough to make up for them

Because you have this false patriotism which in reality is racism. Its not hard to understand really most of these patriots go on and on about lets go kill muslims and ISIS, these thugs need to be shot for sitting down etc. They want all this shite but they were too chicken shite to raise their right hand.

When people who get all upset about it only brings more attention to it. Personally, I will always show respect to the flag, but because this is America, people have the option to do whatever they see fit. We have the right to express our opinion on it, but if everyone would just ignore what others are doing then it wouldn't be such a big deal.
