Which is actually more offensive ?

All due respect, this is a shitty thread.
.....no offense
Kidding aside, I would say "no offense" because people tend to give a pause after what they say and "no offense." Which to me is a giveaway that they thought they were tough enough to say something insulting, then got uncomfortable so they followed it up with "no offense."
If you're going to insult me, I probably had it coming. But don't be a bitch about it and stand by what you said.

Only someone that's offended can answer this, so I'll stand by because they'll be along shortly

How can it be offensive if I say, "no offense" before I say what I want to say?

Both are less offensive than "Let me be honest with you" or "I'll be hnoest with you". Does that mean that you more accustomed to lying?

I catch myself saying, "I don't want to say XXX, but XXX" because I can't think of a lesser degree word

Isn't that what Tony says right before he whacks a guy?

Shoot from the hip, and straight. No need for either.

If you are addressing Sean Peyton it normally is "no defense"

I disagree. If you're in court and disagreeing with a judge, you're better off starting your argument with "With all due respect..." than with "No offense...".
