-comes into thread fearing that racist subject relates to the University of Alabama.
-quickly realizes that the subject does not relate to the university of Alabama.
-individuals on SEC RANT make the connection anyway.

Glad we live in a smart reasonable society.

I agree every white supremacist I have seen on TV or in person would not last 5 minutes in a "race war." Would get stomped to the ground.

One sad thing about this country is that we totally accept the pop culture worship of pimps, drug dealers, and murderers/gangsters.... But a crass shirt making fun of that culture is "offensive"

Would a "black panther" shirt making fun of the movie "godfather" be considered offensive?

The shirt's text reads, "The Original Boys In The Hood," and offensively makes a comparison to the 1991 film "Boyz N The Hood," which focuses on gangs South Central Los Angeles

And a shirt endorsing a black street gang from LA who ran drugs, pimped women, and promoted violence wouldn't be offensive?

The shirts are trashy, but would she have told someone in a #blacklivesmatter shirt not to wear it again? I doubt it.

Today, they are equivalent to one another. Two race based, hateful organizations that spew hate speech, try to indoctrinate more people to their views, and protest on political and social grounds.

The BPP has espoused physical harm and murder of whites in this country for decades.

About the comparison as a whole... No, two wrongs don't make a right, and the guy with the shirt is pathetic and not funny. I'm just sick of the one-sided, and overused, cries of offense and racism.

It won't change until everybody sees, or tires of, the fricking social double standards we are subjugated to live under.
