Wife is not interested in ordering anything off the Internet.
Are there any stores in New Orleans that sell safari clothing? I see Cabelas has men's safari clothing, but did not see women's clothing
TIA

I'm pretty sure you can buy clothes that scream "I'm a huge fricking douchebag, look at all this douchebaggery that my wife didn't buy online"' from anywhere.

See there is an Orvis store in Baton Rouge. We will check it out. See there is free fly fishing lessons there also. That will be cool, wife has been wanting to learn how to fly fish, but we have not had time to head up to Idaho or Wyoming area. Could have probably hit some Orvis store during the Syracuse trip. Thanks for the info

If you wear safari gear over there you'll look like the rest of the dumb obnoxious tourists I see in East Africa.
Just be yourself. You're going to love it.
Where you headed?

Thanks for the help, but bright colored clothes or white clothing tends to scare the animals away. Good try though

That's an Awesome Trip,I'm jealous! Kasane is cool place. Make sure you go for a chobe river tour.

During the stay at The Game Lodge, we have two river tours scheduled for the afternoons. Also, have two early morning safari tours and one late afternoon safari tour. I guess we are not going at the best time for northern part of the Chobe area for animal viewing, but still excited about making the trip.

You're still going to see plenty of animals. Finding clothes in La is going to be tough maybe check Masseys, Academy or Exofficio. Most people just wear khaki shorts and columbia type breathable shirts on the game tours. Get a good rain jacket as those land cruisers aren't that good at keeping out the rain.

Up until 1976 THE place to go was Abercrombie and Fitch, outfitters to the likes of Teddy Roosevelt and Amelia Earhart. I used to stop at their store on Wabash Avenue in Chicago on my way to catch my train and go on a fantasy safari through their displays. Then it all turned to shite when they started pitching to the beautiful people.
