Talked with a coworker this morning that is doing the full thing now with all the pills.

Told me that he has done just the meal plan and it was pretty significant results.

Not a big supplement person, but I am thinking about the meal plan.

I imagine it probably does work.

I also imagine a clean diet and exercise works too, and you don't have to enter into a cult and buy a shite ton of products going that route either.

It made me feel better and my digestive system was definitely on a much better schedule. But that can be attributed to following the healthy diet. The pills are all things you could just pick up at GNC really. Its just fish oils and stuff. The cleanse really just gives you the shits for a few days then loads you up with fiber to get you back on track. I lost about 6 lbs, but fell off the wagon due to drinking. 24 days is a long time to not drink and to have planned meals and pill packs with you all the time.

It works, my wife and friends have done it and on average they have lost 10 to 15 pounds if not more. However, they complimented with a cleaner diet and exercise.

Be prepared to hang out by the toilet. Hahaha

You'll notice results and then gain it all back after you finish. Then you'll just wonder why you spent $180+ on some 24 day fad diet. Don't worry though, the Advocare cult will be here to give you the recited propaganda. Tell you how the products are created/approved by a panel of doctors and so on and so forth, but then can't tell you why it isn't FDA approved since it's such a great medicinal breakthrough. Oh and don't mention to them that it's a pyramid scheme either, they don't like that and freak out. Poor souls don't realize that they are being fooled by some $2 accounting trick.

Just finished it and ended up losing 15 lbs. However I continued eating right after and lost 5 more and still going. I found that the meal plan was the most important part. It severely cuts your calorie intake AND virtually eliminates any carbs. The supplements did help curb the hunger but I really found them more of a hassle since I had to take them 30 minutes before a meal. I really used it as a kick-starter for eating healthier. No way I'm going to give up on something I just spent $200 on. Save some money and go buy some fish oil and vitamin packs at GNC. Then cut you meal portions, eat proteins and veggies for you big meals, eat healthy snacks throughout the day and that's the program. They make some good stuff that's sold individually but the 24-day challenge is a just a really good marketing ploy.

No, but I did do the 15 day Nature's Secret Cleanse & Flush - I was in Smoothie King and am a terrible impulse shopper. Lost about 5 lbs but was also eating less.

Did it last year and it does work. However, if you want to save money, get some fish oil pills, eat a paleo diet and start working out. Thats really all it is. Eat lean proteins and vegetables. Cut out the carbs.

I've always wondered what is the plan one has after doing a bitch diet like this. Like, what happens on day 25+? Or do they just plan on being on that shite forever? I don't get it.

I know people who keep doing it. I know some pretty fit people who've lost a lot of body fat. But you can definitely get the same results with a well balanced, strict portion size diet

Losing weight is easy, it's keeping it off where people run into trouble

I just don't get how it's a "bitch diet". Is it unnecessary and expensive? Definitely. Do people talk about it too much and make it a cult? Of course. But all it does is make you eat a healthy diet and give you some supplements. It's not like there's any diet pills in it. Just because it has "24 day" in the title doesn't make it some whack job thing. That's like saying P90x is a bitch workout program because it's only 90 days. What happens after 90 days? It's really just a well balanced diet with supplements like vitamins, fish oils, pro biotics, etc. that plenty of people take anyway.

why humans continue to pay excessive prices for diet information that is readily available and FREE to them in the internet is beyond amazing.

You start over without a 180 dollar cost for the next session.

Cult is an understatement. Being around someone who sells it is worse than telemarketing, at least I can hang up the phone for them. Whenever you have a family member selling it you hear about the shite every single time you see them. Seriously how many times do I have to say no? How many times do I have to laugh at how miserable you are during your first week or 2 of the challenge while I'm enjoying a good meal and you're bitching that you can't eat anything good while on the challenge to realize that I don't want to put myself through the misery?

Oh and a little advice to those of you who haven't had the pleasure of talking to someone selling it. Whenever you are approached about it, make it completely clear that you are in no way shape or form interested in the product even if you are. Because if you give them the time of day, they will never leave you alone.
