It's a little early to put the St. George public schools on that list.

Lol. 3. But from what I've researched, all of those have preschool through 12, I may be wrong. I'm very interested in BRIS because my daughter is fluent in Spanish and English for her age so adding a third seems like an advantageous approach.

All of them are failing schools despite what Gov BJ tells you. DO NOT send your kid to a charter school.

I have no experience with any of these schools personally, but I think attending an international school is a great idea if you're not interested in moving to LP for good schools.

Being multilingual will soon be as important as having a bachelors degree.

BRIS is fine for the younger grades, but if you go that route, you might consider changing schools after elementary. The classes get smaller and smaller the higher the grade; I think they've graduated 3 (?) kids total.

Unless things have changed recently, be prepared for yearly tuition increases, fundraising from hell, and hidden fees sprung on you. Some people I know who have left complained about poor administration and lack of emphasis on English/reading training. Others I know who are still there disagree.

I don't know much about the international school but as for the other three:

1) St. George (PK-8)
2) Dunham
3) Runnels

St. George is also the cheapest but it's pretty hard to get into if you aren't a parishioner.

I'm not sure how accurate this is and I'm sure the source inflated some numbers, but apparently the top tier college admissions look favorably on international schools.
Like I said, probably more to the story because I don't necessarily jive with that.

As for the other choices, St. George is probably going to be the largest in terms of class size/students per grade, and if you're not Catholic or a member of the Parish, it may be difficult to get into. It ends at 8th grade, but it does feed into Catholic High/St. Joseph's (and St. Michael's).

Runnels is smaller and has more of a family atmosphere. I think the preschool is in a different part of town than the main school campus though.

How does St Michael's compare to these?

Not to thread hijack, but I know someone that went there and he doesn't seem too well off educationally despite having paid for it.
