You pretty much ignored a previous inquiry of mine:

quote:

How do you go about getting the work order rolling on something like this? I assume the WTC had a maintenance contract for their elevators. So that means they have to infiltrate the elevator company, invent some sort of problem that the unknowing company will approve, then get the WTC management company to sign off on it. I assume there will also be unionized labor involved so then you have to add another layer of approvals, contracts, etc. Next, you'll have to get permits with the city which would require inspection and approval on their part.

I'm sitting in a windowless office arguing with you on the internet over something that is, in reality, utterly meaningless

does that answer your question?

semi off topic question, but why are these type of theories dismissed so quickly anyway?

Not saying what he is claiming is even remotely true, but in this day and age of social engineering, it would seem plausible. Maybe most of us are afraid to admit the government could be as elaborate in them pulling off such a scheme.

If there is a conspiracy theory I would entertain in this whole thing it's the one that says the govt knew about it or aided certain groups to help carry it out. The rest of it is nonsense.

But if you are the maintenance night crew you don't need special permits. You just perform your regular "maintenance".

Union bosses get paid off all the time to hire "my guy". The union boss doesn't need to know why.

Not "regular maintenance".

No regular maintenance takes months. Besides, they'd have to come up with a legit reason for something that would involve that amount of work. It would also have to be seen, inspected, and approved by all kinds of people. It's just not feasible.

True, but it would have to go through a legit company who would be very suspicious as to why "their guys" would have to be on this crew.

I have a hard time believing that "regular maintenance" would take 3-6 months.

Even if they weren't suspicious at the time (they would be), they definitely would be by now, and probably all over the internet telling anyone who would listen.

That's at least 3 buildings that all have to be prepped at the same time(i.e. striping away the insulation/concrete to get to the steel beams, cutting them with acetylene torches, placing shaped charges, and wiring them) without being seen or raising any suspicions.

Once again, the sheer logistics of the operation are enough to render it nothing more than a pipe dream.

All done by the same organization that couldn't cover up getting hookers in South America on the nation's dime.
