A perfect graphic that sums up being "offended"

What these SJWs need is a good bop on the nose and to be told NO!
That's the damn problem. If you give into them they'll hone in on you, alert their cohorts to your weakness and they won't give up until your flesh has been stripped away leaving nothing but bones.
Show them strength and refuse to give in and they throw a fit, call you worse than hitler, and then move on to a softer target.
Have all these CEOs become so sackless that they'll give in to any threat of being labeled "insensitive"?
Where does it end? What would a SJW world look like if they all got their way?
And what's the best way to fight them?
Here's my argument in gif form.

And constant surrendering to appease a tiny minority is good for shareholders? I bet they'd see a boost in sales if they said "no, you're being absurd. Go piss up a rope."

It's virtue signaling. Nothing more.
In the case of PayPal in particular, I suspect that another city (I think Atlanta was rumored) came in and undercut Charlotte, and this was a way to save face.
I mean, their international HQ is in Singapore, which has LGBT laws that make Mississippi look positively enlightened.

I love how the nfl threatened to not hold future Super Bowls in North Carolina bc of the new legislation. Yet teams frequently ask players before the draft if they're queer.

No they wouldn't. In this day and age the businesses have to kiss their arse. No matter how stupid the complaint they have to toe the line.
I do wish more of the smaller businesses would start telling these idiots to fck off.

Where would the NFL hold a super bowl in Mississippi anyway?

The interest of the shareholders is profit. So what's worse, pulling ads that you've spent millions on or losing a couple thousand in profit from a tiny minority (also potentially losing no money at all because these offended people likely don't buy your product anyway).

Im guessing he means North Carolina

let's say you own a significant amount of a company's stock. Do you really you want to risk a PR hit and price drop to stick it to some liberals? If so, YOURE the tiny minority.

Meant to say North Carolina

well it's like safety. people didn't like the seat belt, now they can't drive without one. You'll have people who will fight it, but in the end it's for their own good.
Now , what are the limits, we added air bags, then side air bags, and now we are moving toward driver-less cars.....the end result is when "risk" has been mitigated as much as possible.
So in that measure, SJW won't ever stop, it will continue to evolve as long as there is friction.

I feel like someone should be quoting Burke right now. Where's kafka?

It goes the other way as we'll. there are people that would buy your product specifically for your stand against this bullshite.
Case in point - Chick-fil-A. They didn't lose jack shite after the CEO said what he said.

Except that it won't happen like that.
Look at chick fil a. People that never shopped there threatened to boycott, protest, blah blah blah.
The response was people wrapped around the block to buy their product.
You pander to an insignificant minority you lose respect and whatever you had invested in an ad campaign.
You stand up to baseless accusations and it's more likely that people who might not have shopped at your store will now to show support.
It's not that hard.

Well to be fair, Chick Fil A could say Hitler was a hero and it would still be hard for me to not want to eat there.

Chick fil a is a private company
Eta: it's also based in the south. Not all companies have this luxury.
