And is hacking wiki leaks.
Gee. I wonder who could possibly want the flow of information to stop coming from these sites AND have the power to shut them down

Long Story short, it is a cyber attack on a major DNS provider. DNS is the service that tells your computer the digital address of a particular website so it can find/connect to it.
No specific websites are targeted just the DNS provider.
