That's not how it works. Models and forecasts are fluid and do not always represent what will actually happen. 99L is still nothing more than a tropical low/wave and we won't know more about it until it actually turns into something or fizzles out.

It probably doesn't mean anything, but I was just watching House of Cards ***Spoiler warning*** and a major hurricane threatening the US turned north into the Atlantic, causing no major damage to the US.

Also, 18z GEFS shifted west and the 12z Euro EPS mean was west of the OP. Not really any major changes in thinking other than an eastward expansion of the spread today. The upper level setup across basically the entire western half of the Atlantic basin is pretty complicated and there were some significant changes with that on the 12z Euro. It will be interesting to see what the 00z models show tonight.
