The people that know better are still saying we'll have to wait until Sunday do get a better feel for it.

Consider the movie the perfect storm, you could catch so many fish if this situation plays out correctly

Also consider that they all died as well. That may or may not be a deal breaker though

They're both showing an extremely powerful storm hitting the central gulf coast. Doesn't seem plausible, but I guess you never know.

Although it's still not gathering a CLEAR eye or LLC that you can see on visible satellite, you can still make one out when observing particulate and wind direction.

Here's the lowest level (surface) winds clearly showing the small "eye":

Here's medium level winds showing a slightly bigger "eye":

And then here's the highest measureable winds. Notice how the "eye" breaks down and isn't defined, this is due to the existing wind shear that is slowly weakening:

Although it's not gaining much as far as convection, there IS still a defined LLC out there swirling around. We want to see those small eyes in the first 2 frames get scrambled up and start to look like the last frame, as much as possible at least.

If it comes our way and you plan on fishing right after the storm passes, the Red fish are always a hot bite. Reason, higher tides pull a lot of storm minnows out the marsh.

So, are we screwed here in Louisiana?
