I hope a tsunami engulfs California, no one dies, but it breaks that landmass off and pulls it out into the ocean, no longer connecting it to the great land of America

I would be more concerned about a tsunami than buildings be directly affected by the shaking, it seems too far away for that (could be wrong).
Would imagine that a 6.8 would create a tsunami, albeit maybe a small one.

Has Cali fallen into the ocean yet? Would make for one hell of a Christmas gift

And if California slides into the ocean
Like the mystics and statistics say it will
I predict this motel will be standing
until I pay my bill

Did it do enough damage to cause California to float out to sea and sink???

Must be from all of the fracking

Low probability. looks like the quake is on a transform fault and not a thrust. 6.8 at worst would be expected to generate a small tsunami if a thrust. Watch for other activity north of Ferndale quake the next couple months.
