If we cared about being humane, the survivors of that prison riot would be fast tracked to the U.S. Sanctuary cities. But instead, we want to exclude them from our society. It's our fault.

Yet the Pope plans to tell the US we must allow these people into our own country as they have rights to immigrate here. News to the Pope, we are a sovereign nation with laws and we make our own decisions not based on his globalist ideology. The situation is very similar to that of Syria and its refugees. Mexico is a literal war zone for those that have not traveled there over the past 10 years. I have witnessed it first hand and understand those wanting to escape such a place. That said, we as a nation "US" have no obligation to take these people in at our own detriment. Those supporting such measures from within our country are those that will utilize these vulnerable individuals as labor in an effort to profit at the expense of US citizens unwilling to work for less than livable wages and those pandering for amnesty in an effort to create a new minority voting block. These illegals negatively impact the lives of lower and middle class of Americans at every turn. Increased national debt via government benefits to those here illegally, increased gang/cartel violence in border states will spread and the spread of disease is intolerable... Our border must be sealed and Mexico must be held accountable for its own issues; we do not have the resources to adopt yet another third world problem...
