2017 Tesla Model S P100D does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds setting new record for a production car

The Ferrari LaFerrari hits 70 mph a tenth of a second quicker; the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1 pull ahead at 80 mph, and these hypercars all continue to pull away at higher speeds. But around town, everybody has long since lifted off the accelerator pedal.

This is my car.(not 2017) It is the best, there is no doubt.
I SMOKED a blue lambo yesterday. By the way, to the driver, you were almost as beautiful as your car! It was fun. You can call me white Tesla. Hope to see you around Airline and Antioch again!
I digress, I wish mustang owners would read this, you guys are fricking obnoxious...... I cannot be at a single red light in this town without you clowns revving your dirt engine all over me.
Please note, you cannot race a Tesla, stick to camaros, they are more your speed. Same goes for Vettes, you have NO CHANCE -- but your not trashy at least, so lets keep racing. I have always loved vettes!

Not debating that...I've driven a P Tesla a few times and they jump to 60 on launch, but that's about it. They aren't "performance vehicles" per se...they are electrics that haul arse to 60mph, and really, that's where the driving excitement ends for them.
Not bashing it--it may be the right car for some, but it can't hold a candle to a 911's arse.

I like the look of Teslas and the disruption they are causing in the industry. I love that 65-inch display they have in the middle of the dash.
However, no mother fricker that drives a Tesla is going to have the balls to go toe to toe with me at a stop light or on the interstate.
They drive Teslas so they can get front row parking at Whole Foods and get 100 MPGe.
Anyone who has the nuts to floor it is going to be driving a Hellcat/Corvette/whatever the frick rednecks drive or an AMG/M-Series/Porsche.

How often do you drive on a track vs around town? No one gives a shite about how fast you are on the track. I'd take a faster more fun car while daily driving any day.
