I work with a woman who is both beautiful and intelligent. She is 42, has a 6 figure income, no kids and has never met " the one". As awesome as she is, her ideal man just isn't possible. Poor baby needs to read this thread.

It's pretty sad. But not too surprising. I know it's a taboo conversation for most females. But they never want to be the last one to get married in the group. Why on earth they worry about this shite I'll never understand.

Especially if it isn't just a phase. Everyone is capable of a couple of weeks of I don't want to die alone syndrome every 5 years or so, but if they are worried about that shite constantly, time to re-evaluate.

Nailed it. If you want to be single woman and do your own thing, I certainly respect that. But don't complain about men or write/share validation seeking, insecure articles like this telling everyone you don't really need a man with reasoning that makes no sense. Same with dudes who project their insecurity around women as faux-macho, don't want to be tied down or conform BS.
