Im in. A day late, but yesterday the office cleared out early and I got bored so I did 200 on a whim to kill some time haha. Only 134 shy of the daily total. Gonna see how it goes today.

Did my day 1 25,26,27&28. Not as bad as I was expecting. Might up my goal to 15000.

For day one I did 15 sets of 30 in the evening time.

Wasn't sure how sore I would be the next day, but my plan is to do 450 every other day.

This morning did 2 sets of 50 before work. Will try to as many sets of 50 as I can this evening, hopefully getting at least 4 sets in.

If all that goes well, it will be enough to averge 375 reps a day going forward.

Enjoying it so far.

Ok. I'm going to give this a shot.
It will be tough on my left shoulder, but will go as long as I can. I'm a day late, but needed 48 hours to think about it.

Just curious if anyone doing this challenge does not already work out on a regular basis? If not why not just join a gym or do you plan on using this as a bridge to starting a workout routine?

I workout 4 to 5 times a week. Using this as a bridge for dad bod.
It's just a hell of a challenge. Not to mention I think it will help get me over this plateau I'm at.

What kind of plateau? A strength plateau?

Yes strength. Minimal gains in past couple months. I'm thinking this should shock them quite a bit.

I go to AnyTime 3-4 times a week and mostly do free weights, pull-ups, push-ups and squats. I used bench with the bar, but pulled my pectorial muscle more than once. I much prefer different types of push-ups as opposed to benching with free weights. My goal is keep lean, no bulk. Will do cardio on the weekends.

I also like to do supersets, so the days I go to Anytime, I plan to still do my push-up challnege but alternate it with pull-ups 2 times a week. I did a half-arse P90X workout 5 years ago, so in sense, I consider the push-up challnege a new modification of that.

Have you tried dumbbell bench press?

I'm doing this on top of my workouts.

Cutting back on lifting to 2-3 times a week. That on top of the 10,000/1,000/100 challenge will be more than enough for me to handle.

Im doing it kinda cold turkey. I have a 2 year old and another one due in 2 months. I typically work 45-50 hours a week so I do what I can when I can, which isnt much very often haha Its been about 6 months since Ive been in a gym, but I typically take my bike out and ride the levee a few times a month to get some work in. I normally do pushups later on in the day if I have time to burn at the office, so this just gives me a daily goal to try for.

I did 100 so far today, been on the road alot but I am about to knock out atleast 150 more in the next few hours.

I am noticing soreness in my shoulders more than anything. Anyone know how to help with that?
