Does anyone know of any companies that offer a 100% guarantee on their mold remediation services? Thanks in advance.

Not possible
They can only warranty condition right after cleaning
Additional water intrusion issues can happen after cleaning, whether accidental or intentional, that can lead to fungal amplification

That's what guarantee I'm looking for. Right after they complete services

A co-worker was just telling me that he heard about a company that will come in and inspect your house after the mold is treated and if they pass you sign a certificate that the mold was properly removed. Should do wonders for the resale value of homes in flooded areas.

They can warranty certain fungal species like pen asp and stachy, but others are just ubiquitous
Get post remediation air samples, swabs, and moisture readings on affected materials

I am a professional mold inspector. If someone is signing a certificate, they are a scam. The real hardcore mold inspectors use a stamp.

How much are companies charging for mold remediation?

What qualifies someone as a mold specialist? What are the standard test and procedures? And what tools are used?

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a mold remediation certificate.

There are no "Mold Laws" or regulations in LA....all these "clean house" certificates are basically worthless... the only thing you can do is have someone take mold samples in the house (all houses will have mold - even with no flood) and then compare the samples in the house to the samples outside. If you have more mold inside than out you have mold growing inside, if you have less mold inside than out you are good. Once the samples are back from the lab, the most they can say is it was mold free at that point, there is not guranty anyone can provide. Also, you have to keep the humidity down preferably to 50%.. maybe 60%.

mold is always in the house. it is always in the air. What you are looking for is the spore count in the house to be equal to or less then the mold count from outside. But you also do not want to see the bad molds (ie black mold)
The abatement contractor can only be responsible for the "final" count while under their treatment. If you as a homeowner neglect the environmental condition within the space, IE shutting off the A/C for long periods of time, running steamy showers with out proper ventilation, or a leak at the kitchen sink, they cannot be held liable.
Remember mold need 3 things to grow. Darkness, food source, moisture. Making sure the studs are dried to 15% or less moisture content prior to hanging the rock is essential. Also, if you can, adding a UV light to the coil section of the AHU would also lessen the chances of airborne spread and UV 'C' kills almost anything

BE CAUTIOUS OF THE "MOLD FREE CERTIFICATION"
Yes, reputable companies will likely issue them.
But, you can take like a 30 minute course online right now that "certifies" you to issue these.
It's not well regulated at all.

Ideal humidity range is 50%-60%. This is what we typically design commercial building systems to operate.

I'm using Cajun Duct Cleaning. I'm only a couple days in on the process but seem reputable. He did mention a 10 year warranty. This process is not cheap and there are extras but be prepared for $10,000. Goes by square footage. I know if I'd ever buy a house that's flooded in the past I'd want proof this process was done.

I was thinking of starting a company to do that years ago. I even bought the name "fungusamoungus" lol
Charge $250-500 per house to certify it and give them a nice certificate.

You are crazy if you are paying 3-10K for services. Go see John Conroy at Pest Stop on O'Neal. Buy it and do it yourself
