CINCINNATI — Officials say one person died and another person was injured when a highway overpass collapsed in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Enquirer (https://cin.ci/1zsUAS1 ) reports that according to a police dispatch the southbound interstate 75 was closed indefinitely after the collapse of an overpass north of the old Hopple Street bridge. It happened at about 10:30 p.m. Monday. The newspaper reports at least one tractor trailer was damaged by the collapse. Fire and EMS officials say one construction worker was killed and a tractor trailer driver was injured.

Looks like the semi hit the bridge, it didn't just collapse on it's own.

Assuming it was while construction was ongoing.

Yeah, that's very sad. 1 Construction worker dead.
That driver will be messed up for a while and probably did nothing wrong.

Looks like it did.....
Not the driver's fault..

As the old bridge collapsed to the ground, a semi driver crashed into the rubble almost simultaneously -- some of the debris still falling onto the front of the semi.
Truck driver was extremely lucky..
71&75 is nothing but construction around Cincy

Actually, they were demoing the section of the bridge when it happened. Said the combination of the vibration from the truck caused it to collapse.
