For me...

RB Joe Mixon, wouldn't mind at #32 and would be ecstatic at #42
There has been plenty of discussion on him. Hey, how cool would be to potentially have the next great back from Oklahoma along with the GOAT?

My second I can remember no board discussion. CB Sidney Jones is my choice. They are giving him a 6 month window for achilles recovery. No injury and he was in discussion for top 4 CBs minimum. I wouldn't go #32 and he may be gone before #42. I would be thrilled if he could be taken in the 2nd Round.

Who else ya got for players recognized with issues, risk, or that you feel are worth reaching for?

Deangelo Henderson and Tarik Cohen are 2 small backs that are solid in space/receiving that could result in Cadet finally getting axed

Not sure where they are projected to go but would like to add them

Kendall Beckwith in the 3rd without not knowing how he will recover.

Foster at 11 because I honestly like him better than everyone projected at 11. Players that could fall I would take over foster at 11

Hooker
Adams
Allen
Lattimore
Solomon Thomas (miracle)

That's about it.

Sid Jones and Jake Butt

Two 1st rd talents who will pay long term dividends. Would of course upset the people that think this draft is the key to a 2017 SB

Mixon may be there in the third. No reason to reach if we don't have to. Especially at a position we're currently good on.

impossible, he was in strong 1st Rd discussion before the injury. The projection is back on the field by September. So getting playing time this year is not out of the question. It is a risk on the degree of long term effect but I would bet on him gone before the 2nd Rd is over. I'm not real confident he would even be there at #42.

PS- IF the Butler deal goes down he would be an even better pick. That is, the need to get him on the field would be completely different.

I'll say it. Mahomes-#32. He needs to sit 2-3 years but the ceiling is high, Superdome high. I also like that he grew up around professional sports.

Mixon- #42
