I'd take him, because Mike smith knows defense.
I'm honestly just so sick of losing the way that we lose. Like yes I want to be good. But I could live with being bad and losing because we have a bad offense and a good defense... at least it would be different. At this point it's been basically a decade of watching people score on us at will

Different is sexy sometimes. Logical. Mike Smith may not actually be a terrible hire but the shock as a saints fan, this is the type of hire we'd be in for. Teryl Austin, Mike Smith. Maybe a Matt Patricia...

I've said a few times. I'd just assume keep CSP as long as benson is in charge. I'd rather us be somewhat stable and just below average than the Cleveland Browns because we get the 10th guy on our list of coaches. Until ownership then GM is stable and moving forward it would likely just get REALLY ugly.

at this point it really doesn't matter we going to get a new coach like it or not. We not going to win out or make the playoffs. There is no way he survives the bye if we loose up to that point.Carolina will win next week.Miamia will beat us.
