Y'all wont like this, but our pick at 11 will be Dalvin Cook

Granted if available, but I think he will be at this time.
Payton has been looking for a Sproles/Reggie Bush replacement for a while now, and a RB that can spell and complement Ingram.
Cook would be formidable in our offense, but of course this will neglect our biggest need which is pass rusher.

I mean, if all of the DE's are gone, then I don't hate it

you are stupid if you believe this

Is Dalvin that natural a receiver though ? I watch a good bit of fsu living here and he always seemed more like a traditional Rb who could also catch as opposed to someone who really excels at it.
Also Rb off the field issues have been discussed ad nauseam on here. Cook has had multiple arrests himself so in a way taking him at 11 an even bigger risk.

Predict Ingram's tweet.
I imagine it'll be a lot like Jamaal Anderson's reaction when the Falcons drafted TJ Duckett

I think they would take McCaffery over Cook.

I'm on the Mixon at 42 train- assuming they give a green light on the off field issues. I'd even go Curtis Samuel.
We know a player like Sproles or Bush can be dynamic in a Payton offense. I just don't think they get enough touches to justify a 1st Rder. That is Reggie's legacy IMO- a very good player that was vital in the SB run- but still did not earn his pay as a #2 overall selection.

A sproles/bush type of back would be more on the lines of a tariq cohen.

I remember the time you accurately picked the Saints-Rams game in 2011.
Still creeps me out a little haha

Dude Cook has fallen out of favor and will probably not even go in the first round much less to us.
