Would like to see Kuhn utilized more as a lead blocker.

We tend to struggle with run blocking . Establishing the run is key to balancing the offense and burning the clock.

Hard to run the ball being behind late in the game

Not hard to run the ball at the beginning. The key is to mix the run with the pass. Burn the clock and minimize the amount of time our defense is on the field.

I think Ingram runs better without a fullback to be honest.

Ingram is averaging 4.1 per rush but the team avg. is 3.6. Most of Ingram's yardage has been due to second effort. Thru 4 games there longest run from scrimmage is 17 yds. Even a modest improvement in the ground game will go a long way. I'm not an advocate for a ground based offense when you have a Drew Brees at Q.B.
but I am all for a more balanced offense that can help keep this ravaged defense off the field as much as possible.

Why make him block? All he does is score touchdowns.

Didn't we just have to fire a coach because he liked to run out of the I formation too much?

You should be the one crying. What are you a skateboarder with your ball cap turned around. Using dude twice in your sentence. And you are calling me a

We also won time of possession 32 to 27 min. Not complaining there just would like to see some improvement in the ground game is all. Actually had 34 rushing att. but for a paltry 2.4 yds avg.att.

Game 1: 43 passing plays/22 rushing plays/1 turnover - 34 points, 29:35 TOP (66.2% passing); 4.0 YPC

Game 2: 46 passing plays/13 rushing plays/0 turnovers - 13 points, 25:53 TOP (77.9% passing); 3.2 YPC

Game 3: 56 passing plays/23 rushing plays/1 turnover - 32 points, 32:34 TOP (70.9% passing); 5.0 YPC

Game 4: 38 passing plays/34 rushing plays/2 turnovers - 35 points, 32:39 TOP (52.8% passing); 2.4 YPC

Need to control the ball more. If they balanced the first 2 games better, they would be in prime position to be neck and neck with ATL for the division right now instead of trying to play catch up. The ATL game was balanced until the defense allowed 5 straight TDs.

We controlled the ball just fine in game 1. The problem was that Oakland couldn't stop us.

Yes the t.o.p. is so important with so many key injuries in the defense. We are currently averaging 3.6 ypc. through the first 4 games just an increase to 4.2 ypc. could be the difference until some of our starters get back in the lineup. Ingram is much harder to take down once he hits that second level.
