Gimme a stat projection.
I'll go first:
60-270-2, 65-550-5
Based on 410+ Saints carries, 200 Ingram, 150 AD, 60 Kamara. Cadet/Hightower recs go to Kamara.

I loved the whole draft until Analzone... Our scouts better have signed off on him. Real tired of drafting all these cripples.

I hope we can bring back the screen game with him.

I think Fleener is the biggest loser in this. Ginn brought in to take up much of Cooks slack, and Kamara taking over Cadet's spot. Looks like Fleener may stay around 50-60 catches again.
Only so many balls to go around.

He had maybe 5, and like 3 of those were very early in the year. Let's not go ridiculous with hyperbole.

I have hope he will be better next year. As of right now, he is the only player on offense that isn't a strength. I project 40 ppg

I don't see Ginn filling Cooks total production. Cooks was good for 78 and 84 catches the last 2 seasons. Ginn's career best is 56 catches in 2008. I know different systems, but it's a stretch to think he'll hit 80 catches. 65-70 is probably his max.

Defending Fleener lol. Never change

Yeah basically
and to think.. if we weren't so hell bent on finding a replacement for Ben Watson last year.. we probably would've picked one of the TE's in the 1st round this year.
It still feels like we tried so hard to make a splash when signing a TE last year. We tried for Green but Pittsburgh got him so then we overpay for guy who basically had similar production he did with the Colts.

I personally am ecstatic about next year all-around.
We have Ginn and Peterson, two vets who are productive. Playing in this offense will motivate them enough to compete and try and play for a playoff spot.
We picked the #2 tackle in Wisconsins Ramcyzyk who is built for our style being very athletic and excelling in the passing game. We then draft a player who will be more productive than McCaffrey will be for Carolina. I watched Kamara a lot while at Tennessee and he was very good and exactly the type back we needed.
Defensively we get the #1 defensive back prospect and in my opinion the #2 safety out of Utah. Both will add depth where you need it most in this league. The pick from Florida at LB could be an absolute steal if he stays healthy. Athletically he is one of the most gifted in the class. Also a ball-hawk. The defensive end was value. Couldn't go wrong there and we didn't.
I love this draft class more than any in quite some time.
Next year could be special if the coaches coach them up and they play to their talents quickly. I could see all 5 rookies getting extensive playing time early next year for sure.

I didn't say he didn't have drops. But let's be correct about the number. If he had 20 I would say he had 20. I would also be calling him a terrible pickup.
He played a role last year even though expectations were higher. And now I'm saying he likely still doesn't live up to expectations.
The original post was actually a knock on signing him if you paid attention. But you didn't.

No Ginn won't take all of Cooks production, but I'm guessing at least 2/3rds to 3/4ths.
And if Kamara goes over Cadet's number (which shouldn't be hard), Thomas has a bigger year, and Peterson eats into it a bit, Fleener is looking at a very similar season.
Let's just hope the drops drop to zero.

I truly don't understand all the pessimism for next year.
We dodged paying out the arse for Butler and instead got the top ranked Corner in lattimore for less money. We then get another ball-hawk in the safety from Utah. We get a playmaker in Kamara is going to be a player in this league. He at one point last year was Tennessee's last remaining back and he carried the load with ease, doing everything for them.
We pick up a very good defensive end who is going to be on the field next year I guarantee it. I'm very excited about this draft and next year more so than any year since 2012.

If you are around long enough you notice who are the ones who are NEVER happy. Don't know if it's a character they are playing, if they are depressed, if they are pessimists, or if they just like trolling those who are optimistic.
But they'll find every nit and pick it.
