I would be extremely surprised if Saints picked Watson or Fournette. No one knows what this FO will do, if either of these players are there when they pick #11.

I agree. But Payton really likes Offensive players early. He's like a kid

Robinson is good for 1-2 false starts per game and has a tendency to lunge in pass protection.

That said, he's turned in some solid performances against elite edge rushers like Garrett and Barnett in his career, and he's practiced against Tim Williams and Jon Allen for 3 years. He mauls people in the run game. Mauls them. I think he could be an elite guard in the NFL but would have a bad time trying to play left tackle

It's funny to me that his scouting reports frequently mention how often he holds, and how often he gets away with it.

You have just summed up the Bama rushing game for the last 8-9 years.

Living in Alabama I watch them just about every week. I can tell you that I always find it comical that Bama can go almost 2 whole games without a holding call and then get (4) against Arkansas up 35 points in the 4th quarter or (6) in a game against Western Kentucky.

Meh, that goes both ways. Alabama's opponents were dead last in penalties this season

But back to the topic. I guess Marlon Humphrey is a guy I could see the saints reaching on at 11. He will dominate the combine and measure at a shade under 6'1"

I don't think he's ready to play man coverage on the outside in the NFL, but combine warriors always get drafted above their actual level. Not to say Marlon is bad, he just struggles to find the ball in man. The kid from UCLA wouldn't be a total shock either. He could help himself at the combine
