Which player were you most saddened to see leave the Saints?

I starting thinking about this after seeing Reggie go over 1000 yards for the first time in his career.

This thread really isn't even about on the field production, its more about how a particular player embodies the soul of a Saint

Ive always liked Reggie and Im glad to see him having success.

However, Reggie doesn't top my list..

Joe Horn being released after refusing to take a pay cut is my #1

Morten Andersen without a doubt. He was a friend of my cousin and my favorite Saint of all times.

Definitely between Morten and Rickey going to hated division rivals for me. At least Rickey left to get a ring. Finks should have just paid Morten.

Deuce. Wish he could have been on the team for our superbowl run

Archie for me, remember this was before Peyton and Eli. Always said that if he was drafted by Pittsburgh, he's hall of fame bound instead of Bradshaw.

If Archie had played for the Cowboys and I had played for the Saints, he'd be the one in the Hall of Fame -- Roger Staubach

Bobby Hebert. We didn't have serviceable QB until Brees arrived.

I hated to see Shockey go. I understand why and it was a great move but I still hated to see him leave.
