Andy Alleman 3rd RD 2007
Antonio Pittman 4th RD 2007
David Jones 5th RD 2007

Demarrio Pressley 5th RD 2008

Chip Vaughn 4th RD 2009
Stanley Arnoux 4th RD 2009

Charles Brown 2nd RD 2010
Al Woods 4th RD 2010
Matt Tennant 5th RD 2010

Martez Wilson 3rd RD 2011
Johnny Patrick 3rd RD 2011

Nick Toon 4th RD 2012

Khairi Fortt 4th RD 2014
Ronald Powell 5th RD 2014

I would say Martez Wilson, I thought would solve some pass rushing woes. Also I thought we had something with the Wake Forest duo in 2009.

Woods because I'm stupid.

Wilson is a close second.

I'll admit I thought he was a real steal.

I was just looking at the stats. From 2011-2014, only nine players drafted remain on the Saints roster. And two of those nine are SJB and Sunseri.

ETA: and Sunseri was released. So make that 8.

Maybe Loomis should outsource his draft responsibilities.

Easily Martez. He had the look and athleticism. I really thought he'd be a beast.

That list hurts my heart.

I had hoped many of those players would have panned out.

Only Pittman was a blessing due to being beat out by Pierre Thomas.

Everyone else was a player at a position of need.

IIRC, Pressley had a good bit of hype when he got drafted.

It'd be one thing if we were drafting guys who couldn't start but were at least decent backups but outside of Woods and Charlie Brown(though it's still a bad picks because it's a 2nd rder who's only playing if there's an injury) these picks might as well have been forfeited.

the heart of NFL football teams are found where these players are picked. It's crazy to think how our awesome offense has kept this franchise above water for so long.

Martez Wilson, easily, although I did really like the selection of Toon at the time.

The scouting dept, especially on the defensive side, has sucked for years. That is 9 of 22 players, 41%. To put in context, any idea how this compare to other teams?

looking at this years draft, i think you can see some improvement under Ireland. look how many rookies and FAs are getting solid playing time already. i think this draft shows a lot more promise than previous years.
