Which is worse? Miles Offense or Payton Defense

I say Peyton defense. At least with Miles you always felt in the game. Down 10-0 you had a chance. With Payton when you get behind it is hard to catch up with the other team scoring on 2 of 3 possessions.

Paytons defense.
Miles offense was bad but when paired with a defense Les could usually be in every game late in the 4th qtr

Peyton Offense is pretty terrible right now. I can pretty much call the plays myself

Payton pretty bad both sides of ball. He has no clue how to use power rbs

Great defense keeps you in a game. So in a sense, Miles is smarter than Payton.

Miles never had a losing record and occasionally would give you a decent offense (see 2005-2008, 2013, 2015 to lesser extent).
SP has gone 8-8 or worse almost half the years he's been here and has given us 1 good defense
