When in the hell are they going to get rid of that stupid siren?

It has become a joke, especially since we can't stop anyone on 3rd down. End the noise pollution in the Superdome! It is really annoying. If they have to play something on every 3rd down, have them play Spanish bullfighting music. Then the crowd can stand up and yell OLE! when we try to make a tackle.

sometimes they played it in the middle of the siren so we just got this ear splitting screech out of nowhere.

I watch a lot of football and I've never heard anything half that annoying and any other stadium the only thing in sports I can compare it to is the vuvuzelas in trashy South Africa in the previous world cup

No. It doesn't. I tried like hell today but the more I drink the more that damn siren annoyed me.
ETA. that damn siren is the least of the issues with what's going on in the dome.

It sounds like they'll play it up to four times a third down depending on the timing if there's a delay or a timeout or something I can't imagine having to sit through that thing multiple times

I know it doesn't help, that's what I said. But disagree about the fans needing help. Basic coordination for when to get loud helps. Go see a Shithawks game and you will see what I am saying.

Thanks for the number for the Saints complaints. I will keep them on the phone for an hour. I am making my list and the siren - while on it - is at the bottom of it. I hope Sean Payton answers the phone.

They might have fired the guy around the end of the 3rd quarter start of the 4th... I didn't hear it again after that... Guess the organization needed an excuse for the lost....hey, someone had to take the blame....

I was gone by that time. This was the earliest I have left a Saints game in decades.
