I keep hearing how awesome he is in practice and how he is a lock for 3rd wr... but he just isnt looking the part in the preseason. he hasnt gotten many chances, not sure if that is by design or because he isnt getting open, but he hasnt done shite with the chances he had.

I've seen him open on many plays just not getting targeted.

He ran a great route on that touchdown drop. He just needed to secure it better but it was also a great play by the corner.

The dude sucks. I don't get the hype for him at all. The only thing I've seen him do in live action since he came here last year is drop passes. For such a big WR he has horrible hands. We're in for a long season if he's the best 3 we have.

He looks like a poor man's Coleston even now at his age.

Deuce985 has always been a negative, sky is falling poster

Coleman will be fine, but he's not as ready as a lot of people seem to think. That was still a great route for a young player

he ran an excellent route and McCourty made an excellent play by getting his hand in there to slap it away

that said... he's got to hold onto it... get the ball secured

It was a good play by the DB, but Coleman has to realize his height advantage and just hold the ball above his head. As soon as he tried to bring it down the DB could reach and knock it was out. But, I think he's still our best #3 option right now.

I think we're fortunate to have 2 TE's that can catch and our entire RB group can catch

Our WR #3 may finish 5-6th in receptions

Exactly. I'm not overly worried about WRs because there's so many options

Exactly. I hear some national Fantasy guys talking up Coleman and I wonder if they've ever watched a Saints game. Sorta like a college Fantasy guy talking up LSU tight ends.

In the postgame show, Deuce was saying that he should not have tucked the ball in that situation. You can see after he caught it, he immediately tucked it on his arm giving McCourtey a chance to punch it out. As you said, he keeps that in his hands and elevates his arms McCourtey has no shot at the ball.

That's fine to say after the fact, but even top veteran WRs tuck the ball away in that situation to ensure they have possession. Sometimes people have to realize that the defender is paid to make plays as well and sometimes makes the better play.
