I'm done with the Payton/Loomis School of Drafting.
Kamara was ok considering we didn't give up 67 like I thought originally, but a broke dick LB at 76 is real stupid.
Went through a whole offseason saying they needed a DE and signed a backup in Okafor and then drafted 2 offensive players out of the first 4 picks.

I mean do you not think the two guys coming back/in are going to contribute at all? More/somewhat equivalent to a 3rd rounder?

Who are you talking about? Kikaha & Okafor? I mean yeah they'll contribute but Payton was saying we needed a CB and a DE on like Monday.

Yes.
I'm sure he would've liked a DE and we still may get one to throw in there but they obviously didn't feel the value is great. Every team in the NFL wants pass rushers. If people thought these 3rd rd guys were transcendent players they would've been grabbed earlier because of the premium on the position.
DE and pass rusher acquisition was one of Ireland's strengths in Miami so I'm hoping we can find some gems.

I get all of that but if you don't bring any in, your chance of hitting on a gem is zero.

Yeah if you need a guy at a position, eventually you gotta take a shot at a guy at that position. We literally added a career backup and we get back our tweener with 3 blown ACLs.
