were the two field goals they kicked whenever it should have been touchdowns. Against a team like the Packers, field goals will not beat them, when you are in the redzone, or on the one-yard line, a team needs to punch it in for six. Now the one on the nine-yard line was the receivers fault and the one on the one-yard line was all Pete Carmichael for calling three pass plays. Defense played well enough for the team to win but those two missed opportunities were the biggest blows to the saints during the game.

I look at it this way... this was the biggest improvement I have seen out of this team, and it was against one of the best teams we will face all season. Not to mention this was at one of the toughest places to play and against a team desperate and angry after referees took a game from them.

I think the offense is just about there, and Brees looked like Brees today.

I honestly do think that things will start to click and some wins will start happening. The problem is if this hole is too big now, and if they can pull off enough wins.

I am proud that they gave a respectable effort today.

Me too. I was scared to turn on my computer this morning to check the score.

I think most people believe the Packer would destroy the Saints.

I actually thought we had a pretty good chance and hoped for the best.

All of the people are doom and gloom over it, but they had us getting killed in this. I think they showed today that they are capable of beating any team. It was a big step.
