Was it a bad snap, a bad hold?

poor clock management if you ask me. They got the snap off with about .5 seconds left on the playclock. Line wasn't set properly. Kick was tipped.

All around terribly coached game after the 1st quarter.

it looked like a foul tip in baseball terms.

ball just went forward.

disgusting.

i don't know what happened but the first thing i thought of was how Morestead was holding instead of McCown.

but then again, McCown bobbled a snap earlier in the year I think.

yet another oddity on special teams this year.

yeah I know.

but is it known that there was a bad snap or hold, or both?

I don't think a Titans player got a piece of the ball. I watched the replay a few times and couldn't tell.

if you're wondering why he has that look on his face, its because someone just asked him "what exactly do you do and how are you still employed?"

Didn't one of the Tennessee players get a hand on it? At least that's what I remember. But yeah, it definitely sucks not having Luke to hold anymore. Seems like such a simple job, but the dude is very good at it.

Our Head coach and special teams Coach didn't have the field goal unit ready to go during a under 2 minutes drive to field goal range to win the game.

Unforgivable.

Yes.

Took him 1/2 a tick too long to get ball set.

Wow... A potential game winning FG, and they frick that up. Sheesh. This team needs to get its head out of its arse.

Yet after the latest miss, Payton again suggested a need for further analysis.

"It's the snap, the hold, the fundamentals," Payton said. "They kicked last week to win a game and they get an opportunity to do it again. We'll look at the tape. Obviously, it's frustrating. We obviously aren't doing a good enough job coaching. We've got to get that cleaned up."

They took too long to set up, the snapped it with no time left on the play clock, it was a horrible snap, and then you got a horrid kick.

All in all, it was about every way you could mess it up.

I honestly think the smart thing to do there was to take the damn delay of game, but this team has the football IQ of a brussel sprout.

From what I could see in my seat, it appeared to be a bad hold. I saw the ball on the ground with the holder picking it up from under his palm and placing it upright before the foot hit the ball. I could be wrong, but I did notice this.
