With guys like Hightower, Claiborne still out there. Where's the news? Where's the visits? I need more action than this.

Signing Mo Claiborne would be a good move to secure a veteran corner who has turned the page. Still wouldn't rule out another receiver signing, like Patterson.

I seriously doubt the Saints are done. Now begins the bargain shopping.

Underhill says we have around 11-12m in space left. We gain around ~4M in June, which can be used for rookie contracts (might need a little more) so we have maybe 1-2 signings left in us.

No thanks. Dude can't shake the injury bug. Only played half a season last year.

Hightower or Zach Brown are the only guys that really interest me. Maybe Claiborne.

Underhill is still not counting the $3.2 mil from Byrd and perhaps not the $1.5 mil from Cooks.

Depending on exactly what Banjo gets this year we have $15.5-15.8 mil in space.

Ginn's first year was slightly higher than I thought it'd be.

All 4 big signings have right around $3 mil first year hits. So that's 5 more big money guys if we keep that rate up.

Not saying we will or won't, just that that's the pattern.

That's actually more than the original 6-7 I thought was possible, but we didn't quite get top shelf big money. We got tier A guys instead of tier S.

Makes sense.

We only count 3.2M from Byrd now and something like 4M in june, right?

$4.6 mil in June, but that's basically spent with draft picks, PS, and 52 and 53 when they start counting.

Hell we may have to dig a little into the $15 (not much bit maybe a mil) because of the extra first rounder if we keep it.

Anyone else think we might still end up with Butler?

I think that we need a cheap, veteran FS. I'm not comfortable relying on Bell and Harris (both sophomores) manning the position. Ladarius Webb played well after moving from CB to S last season and, at 31, seems like a guy we could get on a one year, $4-5m type deal while you make sure that Bell is worth a shite.
