We really really need another pass rusher (PFF Front 7 Rankings)

I know this is pretty obvious but this "The fact is that, outside of Cameron Jordan’s ridiculous 79 pressures on 619 pass rushes, the rest of the New Orleans defense managed 170 total QB pressures on 2,202 pass rushes. That’s awful, considering that the Saints blitzed more than any other team in the NFL (41.3 percent of snaps)" is just something else. This needs to be the number one priority of free agency.

If we had a JPP type to pair with Jordan and to go along with Davidson/Rankins/Fairley, we would absolutely have an extremely legit starting front 4.
Would need to improve the starting LBs and get at least one more starting CB.

The LB and CB should be round one and two of draft. Foster and Tre White slipping to is in second is dream scenario. Could also possibly pick up another CB in free agency.

The Saints do have a pass rusher, but he was injured all season. They need to draft the a playmaker.

The guy who hasn't had a sack since week 6 of 2015?

He also was used minimally after Allen took over.
I like kikaha, dude had a non stop motor and played the run well (poor coverage guy but what'd you expect) but the injuries are a concern that need to be taken into consideration. Depth and talent on the DL sets the elite teams apart from the bottom dwellers like us

I think you'd have to consider Kikaha as more of a role player now

Which is fair and realistic. Limited snaps and 6-8 sacks a year is definitely worth the pick.
