That stupid idiot is the reason the NFL officiating has been so bad this decade.

No good explanation on tv at all other than “it’s close”

Explanation, Michael Thomas has to complete the catch and bring football home for it to count

You have to complete the catch. In the process of completing the catch the ball changed possession therefore an interception. Makes no sense, but that was the explanation.

They called it absolutely wrong on the field and there wasn't enough to overturn it allegedly. Absolute bullshite.

Thomas was laying on the ground with the ball in his hands before the defense took it. Explanation was total crap.

Right, but he clearly had control.

DB had one hand on it when thomas hit the turf. Can't call that a simultaneous catch. Should have been saints ball.

Announcers even said the defender's blue gloves weren't even on the ball until after Thomas was on the ground.

It was tough to see and with the "irrefutable evidence" bullshite, they couldn't overturn the call on the field.

I would add, that I think Triplett got his feelings hurt when CSP let him have it after the review and his mind was made up who the calls were going against....better not get his crew again.

The officiating from the middle of the third quarter on was embarrassing. In the same week as the Eagles get completely hosed.

I dont understand how you catch the ball and go to the ground with it and then have it ripped away and it's called an interception

You have to complete the process of the catch. If there is no defender on him, and the ball falls out of his hands to the ground the moment the defender had taken it away, we both know it would have been ruled incomplete. You have to complete the full process of the catch. I dont agree with the full process of the catch rule, but this is what it is.
