Any LB relief is a positive thing right now. I hope he plays with some hungry aggression.

Let's make this the OFFICIAL Vilma returns thread and bring up a question.

If Vilma gets to play this weekend where do you see him fitting in at, and how many snaps?

I think he gets some limited playing time at OLB, mainly to experiment and ease him in. Really curious to see if this could work, and can't be any worse than who we have playing OLB. A healthy LB core of Hawhorne, Vilma, and Lofton sounds pretty damn good to me.

Hawthorne is still out, but Casillas practiced full today.

She sounds like she mispronounced her own last name.

That's probably better news than Vilma practicing.

Nice. Hope he holds up thru friday's practice.

I wonder how long Vilma has been able to study the def. playbook?

Kromer said Graham was running around and looked good. I think they're just being careful.

Start him at strongside LB next to Lofton. Vilma can play it, he did when he was with the Jets. You wanna get all your best players out there together and the Saints definitely need it.

That's not a real question. It's never too soon. The only legit questions are "How often?" and "At what pace?"
