I know it doesn't mean anything, but after watching deon talk so much crap on us in the pregame, especially the defense, it's nice to see the Vikings give up 27 this quick.

Martin is looking more like AP than AP is. He is ripping off some nice runs

And we played them there.

I know it doesn't really mean anything,

But it means something to me.

The Bucs dominated the Vikings all game in their own house. It was never even close.

It's better the Vikings lose yes, but I wouldn't go that far about the playoffs. I don't think they compete in the division at all. They had a great start but probably won't hold up in the long haul.

Other than Green Bay who would be the top Wild Card team, that 2nd spot is up for the taking.

I just don't see Ponder ever being anything more than average

Horrible play calling by the vikes. AD is ripping off 10 a pop and they put the game on ponder's shoulders from the get go. It was like mike tice was calling their plays.

The Bucs ran Doug Martin 29 times for 135 yards. I'm not going to lie, I'm envious of this dedication to running the ball. Of course it's easy to do when you can stop a team on defense, too.

Not that anyone does or should care, but I think Martin might have singlehandedly won my fantasy game this week. He got 29.3 points in my league.

They were ripping of 10 yard runs pretty consistently. It's very easy to "stay dedicated to the run" when you're that successful. If we ran 29 times at the pace were going we'd be lucky to get 60 yards out of that.
I don't mind it as much this season considering the circumstances. You have one of the best QBs in the game, why not put the ball in his hands as much as possible?

This is great news, the Yahoo app for my phone was not working last night.

Tampa is a good team - every game they've lost is by 7 pts or less, and all to playoff contenders

Because you can't win football games passing the ball 55 times, becoming one dimensional. You cannot do it...you have to be able to wear down defenses so that you can own the clock late in the game when it comes down to it. I'm convinced that if the Saints had a 21 point lead in the fourth quarter they would still try to pass.
