Odds are against him being ready in 3 weeks but what a shot in the arm it would be if he does return.
How about this stat... Saints are #6 in sacks, only 5 behind the top. Inject the key FA acquisition for that purpose and you are ready for some playoffs.

Would be pretty damn awesome, but I guess we'll see. Just another weapon for Ryan to add.
It's funny because you can see a lot of similarities in what he does with his defense personnel wise to what Payton does with offense. He's almost never got the same people on the field for two snaps, always subbing in, always giving different looks. When you really think about it, that's the future of the NFL defense wise. With offenses becoming so multiple, you have to be just as multiple on defense.

Damn. Maybe we keep him around and he can start to see some action after another 4-6 weeks or so. Just in time for a playoff run.

From that interview dude makes it sound like hes healthy and ready to go. I just don't understand how thats possible unless his knee tear was very minor. Still, its an acl and kudos to him if the team and trainers think hes healthy enough to be a factor in this defense.
