18 will be good for me, but i don't want to give up a 2nd or 3rd to do so.

I'll take 5 and 18 and they can have a 3rd.

some of these Titans & Eagles fans are crazy if they think Saints would give up a 2nd + Cooks just to get their first round pick

I wish it were that easy. It would probably take a 3rd or 2nd next year to get that 5th pick.
I'll be fine with giving up the 6th and Cooks for 18. Anything to get that extra first round pick.

But something must have changed if they're now the front runner. Either the Titans sweetened the deal or the Saints are getting more desperate to trade him.

no, they need to just consider Cooks as their first round pick and they don't get another going back to them

Something must have changed for them to become the front runner.

I wonder if they sweetened the deal.

don't know, but the Eagles fans wanted to unload some of their terrible contracts in the deal

lol, chill out guys, this was just this one guy thinking out loud about "his" opinion.

it means nothing and there is nothing behind it at all.

just another reporter that had to write "something" to get replies about

unless it comes from the team, and not just some reporters "thoughts", then it is just BS

It is typical fan message board stuff.

"Hey we want to trade for your really good player but we aren't going to give up a lot and we want you to take all of our trash, that seems fair to us. K thanks"

one of my favorite message board moves.... "[insert Saints player name here] sucks! Let's trade him for a 2nd rounder!"

Like I said man.

Cooks, 11th, and 3rd for 5 and 18.

Looking at it separately is like
11 + 3rd for 5
Cooks for 18

Well a lot of posts about this Cooks trade is "he's definitely worth a first rounder" and "good luck getting 800 yards on your next team".

well he's a former 1st round pick and he's still only 23 years old and he's got 2 years left on a very attractive rookie deal

I don't think you'd get many complaints about this.
