Just some quick thoughts/questions. Overall I had a pretty good time. The game was pretty boring but there was a lot of cool people around me and I got to interact with Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders some.

Is our fan presence always so strong there, or is it just because ATL sucks this year? There was seriously a TON of Saints fans there. Falcons fans kept telling me how they didn't feel like it was a home game. There was barely any noise except on a few third downs, and we even had a pretty badass who dat chant going in the 4th after the missed FG. I was surprised. I expected some presence but I figured that if Falcons fans were going to go to any game it would be this one.

The half time show was literally a bunch of young men stomping to no music. Stupidest thing I've ever seen.

My seats were very close to the field so it's hard to see where the lines were and weren't struggling, who was getting pressure and making blocks, etc. Is there any specific reason for how poor we played defensively? I'm glad we held them to only 13, but I just feel like we gave up a ton of yards.

PT was balling out. Love that dude.

Falcons fans in my area said it was trashy when Jimmy fricked up the goal post and started yelling about an ejection

Overall a decent experience. Not even close to the level of the dome though.

Now lets get rested up for the Seachickens.

I think we came out a little flat, but going down 7-0 woke us up. The defense didn't play bad. Sure, we let them get over 200 yards, but 5 sacks and a forced fumble, and most of all, 16 points. If we don't sack Ryan during their 2nd to last possession (before that one play drive at the end), they're going for it probably, and have an almost automatic FG if they choose to take it.

One of the first games i went to was in Fulton County Stadium back in the late 80's...We won and a large contingent of fans with umbrellas and beads did laps around the stadium dancing and chanting "who dat"...Always a lot of Saints fans at this game.

I am shocked they didn't throw a flag for Jimmy hanging on the Goal Post. We got away with a couple of penalties like that face mask on Matty Melt that didn't get called.

This is something that i've noticed over the last few years in Atlanta at events in Philips Arena and the Ga Dome. Don't know exactly why, but some concerts and sporting events have stopped selling halfway through the night. Saw Sting at Philips a few years ago and sales stopped 1 hour into the Sting performance and there was an opener.

I went to Atlanta in 2011 and had a great time. Their fans were surprisingly pretty cool. I was on crutches when I was there, which was at the same time as Sean Payton, so I got a lot of, "Look, it's Sean Payton!"

Now, Tampa Bay is another story. I went this year and that's by far the worst opposing fans I've seen.

Liability. The idea is to prevent idiots from getting drunk, leaving the venue, and killing someone with their car while intoxicated.

unless they negligently served someone then it wouldn't matter as far as liability is concerned.

I would like to think they do it out of civic concern. Of course, I'm usually wrong.

We counted over 10 different jerseys/shirts for other NFL teams besides the Saints/Bucs. It was very weird.

Its sad seeing Rays games. Especially when they are in contention, and the shitty sports fans in Tampa show up in droves to cheer for the Yankees.

I went to a Rays/Yanks game when I was down there doing an internship. It was sad to see about 85% of the stadium wearing Yankees gear.
