I got nothin other than to say that it would be very, very nice to add even just ONE playoff win to the resume this season.

yes, a playoff road win would be tremendous for our team. If we can do that, I feel like this team can go to seattle with the monkey's off their back ready to throw down and let it all hang out.

Well, they started slow (0-4).

They went more than a year between home victories, but they're currently on a 4 game winning streak at the Linc if I'm not mistaken.

I'm still trying to burn that 1992 Wild Card playoff loss out of my head. Went from a 20 - 7 lead to a 36 - 20 beatdown.

Strangely enough, that game took place right after the epic Houston Oilers meltdown where they blew that 35 - 3 lead at Buffalo and lost in OT. Sure enough, the Saints open the next season at home against the Oilers in the game that everyone called the "choke bowl."

The Saints will, one day, win a road playoff game. They will not go the whole history of their franchise without winning one. At least, it seems unlikely.

Might as well be now.

I was 13. My whole family went to the game. I've never seen my dad more mad in his life, and I'm dead serious. He was so furious, and he rarely gets mad at all about football games.

Almost ran over people in traffic, etc.

I was at the game. That game changed so quick. I think it was a Hebert INT that swayed the momentum. It was a miserable, miserable time.

Yeah, Reggie White says hi to Booby Hbert! BH has said he still has nightmares about RW smacking him around that game even though deceased!
I remember that Houston melt down saved us from being the biggest playoff meltdown!
